Fat Quarterly's Swiss Chocolate Roll-Up Giveaway!

Fat Quarterly is hosting a Swiss Chocolate Roll-Up Giveaway(And so am I - for a second chance to win see details below.)

In celebration of this giveaway I have written up a recipe with this goody for my exclusive Chocolate Torte!
You can make it in rich, decadent chocolate...

Or with a hint of mocha...

To hear more of my blabbering and to download the recipe, visit Fat Quarterly's site.

You can enter the giveaway there as well.  For a second chance to win,
  1. Become a follower of my blog.
  2. After becoming a follower (or if you already are one), leave me one comment on this post saying you've done so and tell me which flavor of my torte (chocolate or mocha) you prefer.  Maybe even tell me what you would make with this collection, but that is not required - I'm just curious!  (MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE A WAY FOR ME TO CONTACT YOU SHOULD YOU WIN.)
The deadline for the giveaway will be Saturday, February 5th.

If you'd like some Swiss Chocolate, please ask your local shop to order it from Robert Kaufman Fabrics.  (Fat Quarter Shop has yardage too, but no one has a roll-up yet, so if you win, you'll be the first!)  Swiss Chocolate ships February 20th!

Happy sewing!
Amanda

  7. Hi Amanda I saw your blocks in the Swiss Chocolate over on Block-a-palooza and I love that fabric. Sorry I didn't realize you were the designer but now I know. I'm now a follower and hope to see more of your work.

It is hard to pick between chocolate and mocha because I like them both. I guess I will have to use both collections in two different projects. Oh darn! LOL

Thanks for the Chocolate Torte pattern.

  50. The palette of Ambrosia was refreshing but I found the slightly more sophisticated patterning of Mocha and Swiss Chocolate nourishing! As for what to use it for, well my heart aches for the people affected by floods in Queensland and I'd like to make sewing caddies or something useful to encourage those who are endevouring to put their lives back together. jbrgeternity@hotmail.com

  51. I am a follower to your blog. But I don't know if I could choose one color way over the other. I love the warm richness of the chocolate set, but the mocha one fits my house more. I guess I'll have to say mocha. I've always been a blue fan. Thanks for the chance to win your lovely fabrics.

  83. I am a follower now. SOOOO in love with the designs. This was a tough decision on which colour I prefer but I might have to go with the mocha. Just because my home interior is mostly blue. Glad you asked what it be used for cause I already have a plan...sort of. I thought it be a fun challenge to create as many items for a kitchen set or pillow set using the fabrics. For example, towels, coasters, placemats, etc for the kitchen or a collection of different pillow design for the couch. What do you think?
