Quilters Newsletter Best Christmas Quilts Giveaway!

Quilters Newsletter Best Christmas Quilts 2012 issue is out on newsstands!  It is also available online here.

I have two projects featured in this issue and they are both really fun to sew! Sparkling Ornaments is a fun lap-sized quilt with lots of dimension.  I especially enjoyed adding trim to the ornaments and making three-dimensional berries with tiny yo-yos.  It was quilted by Deborah Norris.

Sparkling Ornaments Quilt

I also designed a Winter Wonderland Table Runner.   Decorating Christmas trees with seed beads added a little extra sparkle!  Plus I used YLI's white pearl metallic thread for the quilting - really a nice product!

Winter Wonderland Table Runner

I used Aurifil thread for the piecing and applique and Warm and Natural batting from the Warm Company for both projects.

Robert Kaufman contributed 16 fun fat quarters comprised of fabrics that I used in both projects to give away!  And you will get a copy of the magazine Quilters Newsletter as well if you win!

Aren't they delicious?

For a chance to win this luscious bundle and a copy of Best Christmas Quilts, leave a comment on this blog post before 11:59 p.m. MDT on Friday, August 24th. I will draw one name at random. One comment per person, please. (Open to those who haven’t won something from Quilters Newsletter in the last 90 days.)  If you post anonymously please be sure you leave a way for me to contact you should you win.  And consider becoming a follower or subscribing to my email feed if you don't already.

For more chances to win other bundles other days check out the Quilters Newsletter blog!

Good luck and happy sewing!

My beautiful daughter in law is Cambodian and each year I look for ways to gift her a gift during the holidays that allows her to celebrate with us but yet acknowledges her culture as well.

I use colors much as you do and love the way you put them together, I think much better than I have ever done.

I would love to win as I know she would absolutely love the table runner for the table she has (and where my grandchildren and I will get to spend our first Holiday together this year).

Will there be a way to get the pattern other than this contest as I have no way to get the magazine?

However whomever wins best of luck and have fun sewing.

Its gorgeous and wow what talent you have!

I love the color choices in your patterns and the fresh color scheme. I too prefer table runners as they can be very quick to complete. I am considering a business license to work at the various bazaars for Christmas. I currently have blues and greens as my favorite fabrics. Christmas fabrics are always inviting. I love your patterns.

1 2 3 Amanda Murphy Design: Quilters Newsletter Best Christmas Quilts Giveaway! 4 12 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 25 26 27

Quilters Newsletter Best Christmas Quilts Giveaway!

28
