Blossoms... for Christmas!

Hi everyone!
When Blossoms debuted this past spring, I think I mentioned that I really wanted to try it in Christmas fabrics.  Well, a friend took me up on that and commissioned a Blossoms quilt in Kate Spain's Flurry fabric, with just a little bit of Doodlebug Design's Christmas Candy thrown in.  I changed the leaves to be a little pointed, so that the blossoms look like pointsettas.  I'm taking it to Deborah tomorrow and can't wait to see what magic her quilting adds, but in the meantime, here are some sneek peeks...

I love the how the vibrant colors frame the big white flowers!

On another front, my market-booth-neighbor, Brandy Masher, created a really neat wall hanging using a charm pack of Veranda.  You can see it on Ribbon Candy Quilt Company's blog.  Isn't it sweet?

My Memories digital scrapbook giveaway

Last week My Memories contacted me asking if I would like to give away a copy of their software to one of my blog readers.    Well, of course I want to give you all the opportunity to win something fun for free!

I played around with the software this week.  (To see more info about the actual software click here. They gave me a code for you to enter at checkout to get $10 off - STMMMS36473.)  Anyway, you  can use it to make lots of things - photo albums, cards, invitations.  My favorite feature was the ability to select a bunch of photos, select a book design, and watch as it automatically thread the photos throughout - like this....

Fun!

To enter this give away hop on over to the My Memories site and click on "Digital Scrapbooking Kits" on the sidebar.  Come back here and leave one comment on this post telling me which kit is your favorite.   Don't forget to leave me a way to contact you should you win.  Have fun!

The deadline for entries is this Monday the 12th at midnight.

And the Garden Paths and Roll-Up Giveaway winner is....

#194, Maggie, who said:
I never wreck my vacuum by sucking up snarls of loose threads and pins. That's why we buy vacuum belts by bulk.

Ha ha! Nor do we, Maggie!
Thanks to everyone for participating.  I am so far behind in my emails that I haven't gotten to write back to everyone, but we read every single big fat lie and they were hysterical.  Who would have ever thought so many swimsuit models and chocolate-haters reading this blog!

Late this week I'll have a giveaway of some scrapbook software - so check back soon.

Happy sewing!
